newbie questions

This is gonna sound stupid but im looking into lowering my 98 cheyenne k1500. Obviously 4x4. I dont want to do anything too crazy, i just wanna be like 4 in the front and 5 in the rear. Im having trouble finding parts and i need some direction here. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

strange ticking

hey everyone, im new to the forum. 98 Cheyenne 5.7 so tonight i leave work, throw my truck in reverse (automatic BTW) and i hear this loud noise, almost like metal on metal or like if you were to bang two pipes together. Truck backs out like normal. now when i shift it into drive, same...
