Yah ive gotten that a few times now. The old girl won people over Indeed more truck, stronger everything. Was pretty paticular about what i wanted in a new one and this just fit. The 350 is a fantastic engine and i wasnt wanting a newer smaller lsx with less torque even if the horsepower is higher- Neb15

whelp Ive officially sold/scraped off the old truck. Rotor noise turned out to be bad bearings again. Left my injectors running rich for a road trip and cracked a manifold, plus not idling well. Then got it stuck and blew apart a u-joint messing up the driveshaft some more. Just too many $500+...- Neb15

Been a while since ive updated. Pretty eventful summer. Had to replace the distributor and ICM because it stopped starting, almost a $500 bill. The rear u joint almost blew up on me and was quite a lot of work to get apart in the twisted state it was in. Got me thinking I should do the front one...- Neb15

Hank Hill's 88 GMC RCLB Build
Holly cap! Those mesh covers for the headlights are hard to find because most people have headlight bulbs, I lost one of mine and been on the lookout. They are online but kinda expensive. The lights however are still super available in every parts store and truck stop because same size as a lot...- Neb15

The Stupid Engine Questions Thread
is this normal on a power steering pump pulley? I think the pump needs to be replaced because its wining and shaking, but the pulley looks questionable too- Neb15

Yah they are not very secure. The trouble is while you can make it very difficult for them to actually leave with it, that probably means they will break more stuff trying. I really just need to get into a better neighbourhood, or get a dog to sleep in the truck at night lol.- Neb15

Its been a while since my last update, the trucks been keeping me busy and broke lol. I got the pleasure of learning how to tare into the steering column thanks to some punks trying to steel my truck. Replaced the ignition lock to get it running then had to take another one apart at the junk...- Neb15

Im lucky to have grown up close to the mountains and prairies so I can appreciate both, but there is something so wild and special about the mountains I just keep going back. Plus lots of recreational stuff to do. I dont really know who made the camper... pretty sure its canadian made and...- Neb15

Did the front brakes; pads, rotors, and bearings for $200. First time dealing with a hub thats not sealed, over all pretty easy job. Here's the top of the Kananaskis mountains and a few of my favorites from a trip around the Kootenay area- Neb15

I had one of those moments of am I crazy to drop a ton of money into an old truck. My right ball joint failed and took out the lower control arm, wheel came completely loose.
