L31 stock lt1 cam and ls2 spring swap

ok i picked up a stock lt1 cam (used from my brothers 95 z28) and i got ls2 springs and the retainers and locks to go with it also gonna be installing new water pump and timing chain set and lifters has anyone done this setup or something similar where u happy with power gains and in what rpm...
