Okay I just realized that if I have the v8 harness plugged into fire wall and its not firing on all 8 cylinders. I pulled all plugs and #1and #8 are still new. Rest are firing. So what's this mean?

I have a v8 harness in it now. I don't understand why it seems like a miss or something but it runs rough at idle. With foot on break and take off.
How do you run the two extra injector wires is what I'm really needing to know. 97 Chevy ext cab vortec v6 to v8 vortec. I'm really having a headache over this.

Sorry to get this to some1 that possibly knows what a vortec by to vortec v8 swap I missed out on the ecm with the v8 motor. What needs to happen to get my 97 Chevy on the road? Ecm I know but where can I get one? I have a bone stock v6 truck and took it out and put a v8 in it.......
I'm still getting no brake lights, no blower motor for heater, I have turn signals, running lights front and back headlights, but still no dash lights and when I do turn on the headlight switch my gauges go crazy and don't "set" where their normally supposed to. Can I be any more confusing?+)
My 97 is doing the same exact thing bro and it's really I know for a fact that the wiring and how tight your starter is. I torqued the two starter bolts and gave the battery a good boost from my jumper and it fired right up. Now I just done a v6 vortec to v8 vortec swap and I'm still trying to...
