I have a 4l80e it was shifting fun. The wiring on the outside had bare spots from oil damage. I put heat shrek on them. Shifts good. But i think the torque converter is bad. I believe yours is internal wireless harness. Good luck- TW97

I have a 97 chevy Silverado 2500 4x4 7.4 vortec with the 4l80e. Transmission and torque converter are bad. The wiring is also bad. They cost a good chunk of change to repair. I don't want to be cheap fixing it. Do I fix the wiring and get a monster Transmission comes with torque converter and...- TW97

7.4L Cam shaft options
Hi i have a 97 7.4 vortec. I'm wondering if anyone can help me out with a camshaft pick. Stock pcm in it. Stock camshaft. Like a camshaft that i don't have to change out the pcm.- TW97
