I agree...forgot about the tranny issues. Alright will look at fluids etc. 14mpg highway

Gearing change question?

Thanks for the replies. 235/85/16 are the same height as the 265/75/16 so no speedo change needed and likely are giving better mileage due to less rolling resistance as they are thinner. I was just thinking different gearing might improve mileage as I do not use truck for towing.

Gearing change question?

On my 94 Sierra 4x4 it has factory 3.73 gears. Does anyone hazard a guess as to what fuel mileage increase I could expect if I was to swap in 3.08 gears? Thanks so much

fuel pump access

I screwed down a piece of aluminum on top of the access hole but I have a bedliner so even better.

Hello All, Well, I finally made that access hole in the bed and just today installed a new Delphi fuel pump and Spectra sending unit. Total cost $160 CDN. Amazingly after over 300km the Sierra still had the original sender and fuel pump. The Spectra sending unit had the main line on a poor angle...

Fuel connection size

Hi all....merry xmas! Anyone know what size the fuel line connections are on my 94 Sierra? The ones at the fuel tank sender that go from the sender to the rubber lines? They look to be 18mm? I have to do my sender and pump this week. Thanks

94 Cluster with tach

Just picked up a cluster from a 93 with tach....sweet plug and play! Love it. Also found out that GM does not sell the bulbs for the back anymore...apparently the socket and bulbs (194) are all one piece. Oh well, now I have some spare ones. Cheers

Spare tire?

Thanks for the reply. Does not matter now. I have gone with LT235/75R16 and will leave the spare the way it is.

Spare tire?

Hi Folks, does anyone know if an LT 285/75R16 tire will fit as a spare on 94 k1500. I have a 265/75R16 and it looks tight now especially with hitch. I personally feel the spare will be in the bed once I get some new tires. cheers
