    i had confirmed about the transmission it's a 3 speed automatic unfortunately , so it will be so difficult to find this transmission ! the oil pump's are different in 4L60E & 4L80E & TH400 ?

    Thanks Richard , I think that 4L60E & 4L80E transmissions are lil bit available here , but TH400's are extremely rare , so that's the problem , the owner told me that only the oil pump need replacement or fixing so i wish that i could find one , or the best solution that i wish to do is...

    Thanks great white , today i talked to somebody which is experienced with the american cars here in Algeria , he told me that he had a lot of old GM trucks , anyway he tells me that automatic transmission's in recent GM pick up trucks (95-99 6.5TD) are different than the model that i want to buy...

    Thanks you so much , i think i must avoid it i didn't remark that oil puddle , and as i said i don't have any mechanical experience , so it will be very hard to me to own a car like this that need's a lot of work , and that's from what i get from your message .
