    Oddly enough the A/C light doesnt flash, although after you mentioned this i went out and checked and the A/C system had no pressure in it. If the system detected no Freon would it shut the whole unit off? I get no voltage at the blower motor as well.

    As far as I've been told the HVAC equipment is original to the truck, the dash pad and seats/carpet were what was replaced. As long as the HVAC is original does it sound more likely that a simplified control unit would solve the problem?
