Well finally!! After taking off and putting on four times, I got the upper manifold down over the spider. It was just an extremely tight fit. Silicone spray and just kept working on pushing down on upper manifold while pulling up on spider. All went back together after that. Seems to run better...
I just replaced my spider injector. Disassembly and installation of injector went fine. But when I attempted to put the upper manifold back on, it seem not to go down far enough. Still 1/2" gap.
Is there a trick to getting the upper manifold back on over the spider injector? I lubed the...
I took my headliner out and dropped it off at an auto upholstery shop. They ordered the headliner material and recovered the liner $160. The material was special order. If I'd used the original equipment material the price would have been less than $100.

Finished installation of camera and the rest of the wiring. Installed a USB/hdmi port and an Aux/USB port on the center console.
Here's a picture of all the wires before I slid the radio in the slot:

And here at the driver's door pillar is where I spliced/soldered into the light green wire with a blue wire (only color I had) sending the signal from the Reverse wire (light green) to the purple/white on the radio.
Here's another picture where I had to trim more away from the interior panel...
Are the AC controls being moved or do they stay in the factory location?
Yes, the HVAC controls stay in their original location. I removed the factory CD player and ordered the storage compartment to put in its place.
Here's another picture showing the white Stop and also where I cut the upper rear right side angle off because the radio hit it when installed.
Here's the final cut closer to the rear line so the radio wouldn't touch the inner dash panel. Final cut was 2.25" from the top face of the panel...
I've read as many double din (further referred to as "DD") installs as I could find for the GMT400. I looked at all the YouTube videos I could search and decided to make a build thread here that hopefully might benefit someone. I don't have videos but maybe the pics will help. It's still a work...
