Thanks man. I like them a lot. First positive comment lol it seems like everyone wants to pick your truck apart behind the computer screen. They'll all flip out when they see my side steps go on I'm sure!
Well it's been a minute since posting anything here. Had quite a few changes in life over the last couple years. Anyways, truck has now rolled 111k for miles and as of today is sporting brand new wheels and tires, long long overdue! The old steps are gone, but new ones are at powder coat and on...
Ya its that RCD lift...it supposedly widens the front track width by 1" each side, but I think it's safe to say that it's more than that. I had to run spacers out back(there's a story there too) just to get it to look normal...it doesn't bother me anymore tho...
I used to work at Forest Steel over in CDA, Idaho...since then Forest has been bought by Pacific Steel and Recycling... Another place besides CDA Metals in Spokane would be Haskins Steel...
Well first off, thanks man...its a toy that I like to play with and I enjoy driving it...secondly, I don't hang around them other forums anymore...you're exactly right when you say ignorant...but thanks for checking out the steps!
You sure do have some nice trucks!...saw this a few days back on my way to work...looks really clean...always like seeing your black standard cab parked next to the building as well...again, nice trucks
Got molding installed back on Tahoe along with the wheels/tires...I think I need to order a set of wheel spacers but first things first, I need to find and fix a coolant leak...
OK so I got my body molding pieces painted today...duplicolor bed liner, 2 coats...this stuff is great; coated awesome and looks good. I'll let them cure and when I get back from work I get them reinstalled along with my wheels/tires...they are 20x10 helo he835 on 275/55r20 wild country xtx...
