    alternator upgrade

    Have a '94 C1500 with a 5.7 with electric fans. When they kick in voltage goes low. Have only a stock unit. What alternator would increase the output and not require any mods?

    I have a 94 GMC, the pcm is to the right inside the glove box. there is not an independent controller for the tyranny, stock anyway. the tunerpro is free on -line and the gm port to USB is available from moates as stated. that smaller white box to the left is the vss device

    idles/runs super rough, no power.. fuel pump?

    old wires can break. look for loose wire, battery grounds, sparkplug wires if not replaced, if it had been park critters may have worked on it. do a really close inspection of wiring looking for chewed, worn, rubbed areas. the fuel maybe a problem check for spray in the tbi. good luck

    sounds like you have a problem when the engine goes into closed loop. check or replace the o2, map and vacuum lines. if there is a vacuum leak on the map, the ecm is not aware of the correct status

    double din dash for 1988-1994

    found this online MET-953000. It is a double din bezel and a/c vents needs cutting of the dash and painting to match but looks like it works. Got mine today but truck is still covered in snow. $30 bucks

    ‘94 350 TBI milky oil

    here is a test I used years ago, take the dip stick out with oil on it and light it with a lighter. if it pops and snaps there is water present. it should burn with a smokey flame. good luck

    Anyone tune TBI anymore??

    I used Dave w to tune my 1994 350 with big heads and cam. it took a while but it runs great now. he will tell you what you need to swap chips. He uses tunerPro RT Good luck
