Aha I didn’t even think about using a w/t grill that’s a good way to go. I used the radiator out of the duramax and it fits the core support nicely, but the intercooler is an issue. I’m thinking of getting a small intercooler and mounting it where the plastic skid plate is behind the front bumper.- KennedyEngine

That’s a really good job, looks super clean. I’m doing a duramax swap in a suburban and the intercooler from the duramax is in no way going to fit without major modifications. Did you need to modify any of the front lights? And what radiator did you use?- KennedyEngine

The biggest issue with a diesel swap into the gmt400 platform is the intercooler. It takes a lot of fabrication to mount a cooler on the front. Here is where the wires for the front axle actuators go according to the schematic for a 99. These are the 4 wires in the 5 pin harness that goes to the actuator. What kind of front axle is it? Was it a manual select or the push button type? I think they might have also made an automatic 4wd shifting front axle too. Jay, It’s possible that the wiring on the 94 is set up differently then on a 99. A 99 might control that through the BCM where a 94 might not use a BCM. Summit sells a kit to convert it to a manual engagement if you want to go that route...- KennedyEngine

Rear end swap question
I’m doing a duramax swap in a k1500 suburban. I installed the 1150 rear axle from the duramax into the suburban and had to re located my spring perches in more but the shock mounts lined up fine. Rear Dana swap
I have a 1999 k1500 suburban that I swapped a 1150 aam rear axle with disc brakes out of a 2004 duramax 2500 into. I had to cut off and relocate the leaf spring perches.
