How old is your fuel pump? Does this only happen after the truck has sat a few hours or overnight? If you turn the key to run 2-3 times for about 3 seconds each, before you try to start it, does it start fine then? If so, the check valve in the fuel pump is not holding pressure. You can test it...

cheep brake upgrades ????????????

1998 Tahoe Balljoint Replacement

Why didn't you replace the lower one as well? Mine were both OEM at 215k. The bottom was shot and rattled while the top seemed ok. I replaced them both and it took a bit longer than an hour. Lol

Which line to disconnect to flush power steering fluid?

Removing 4L80e PLEASE HELP

My 98 k1500 should be the same. I transplanted a 4l80e into it. You have to remove the trans crossmember and the tcase slides back and then tilts forward and out. I never had to touch the torsion bars or that crossmember. My case is the 246 and might be smaller than the 241 but it worked the...
