One side of side marker lights stays off when headlights are on but it still works for turn signal

Passenger Turn Signal Not Working
Hey everyone, I was installing oem headlights to my truck and noticed my passenger turn signal does not turn on when the lights are on. Once I turn on the right blinker it starts working but alternates with the side marker. Anyone have an idea what’s the issue? Much thanks- jrey
