    Here are a couple pics of my '88 GMC project. Running a 355 TBI with vortec heads, 700R4 and 3:73 10 bolt Eaton possi. I've had this truck for over 30 years, I'm 68years old and have done everything myself. My project is on hold until fall as I recover from reconstructive ankle surgery.

    I had my throttle body bored to 46MM and had Brian at Harris Custom Fuel Injection do my chip, Great guy, easy to work with, I'm very happy with my 355, lots of power. I'm putting it on the chassis next month.

    I'm in the process of installing a new 355 in my '88 GMC 1500, I plan on running it with a carb to break the cam in, my question is will my oil pressure and temp gauge work with the TBI system disconnected?

    I've junked the crappy rear wheel abs system and replace the master cylinder with the GM 19209249 master cyl and installed an adjustable proportioning valve, this has improved my brakes 100%. I don't want to switch to 6 lug wheels but would like to have disk brakes on the rear

    10 Bolt Diff

    I blew the rear end out of my 1988 GMC C1500 last night :(, it was a 3.73 gear with factory possi, I haven't been into it yet but there is a big hole in the cover with some funny smelling stuff running out:(. Does anyone have any interchange information on what I can replace it with?
