Little update, finally got another door, order it though jegs and it came packaged properly for once. Painted said he should be able to get it done in a week or two then I should be able to seal her up. Yes 3 pieces of 1/2” plate. It’s out of an 05 2500. The frame on mine narrows (I believe to accommodate the fuel tank and make the 30 a snug fit). Small progress is better than no progress right? Got most of the body on today, have some hiccups as per usual. I think it looks wonderful, definitely need to tweak some panels and do some fine tuning but I’m thrilled with the outcome thus far. Did all of the sound deadening last night, and a little bit today, ran out towards the end but the difference is night and day already. Supposed to be going to get all body panels installed on Saturday. Might get the new front carpet put in this weekend but that seems like a tough ask- Jnunez74

Managed to get a windshield and the side panels put back in. Got a new windshield and the side glass was out of a junkyard 96. Gonna give a shoutout to Maximum Auto glass. If you are on the gulf coast and need glass I highly recommend them. Not only did he install the glass but he took the time...- Jnunez74

Been a long while since the last update to this thread. Did some tweaking on the suspension and managed to get it to not camber out as much. Got a plate on it and took it out for its first spin. Definitely had an interesting time. The truck did wonderfully for 300 miles other than odds and ends...- Jnunez74

Can i swap a 1500 4x4 to 2500 4x4?
It can be done, it’s not easy but it works. I have a whole thread on my build and there are pictures. Gotta cut and weld mounts for front diff and shorten the UCAs- Jnunez74
