91 C1500 Front Suspension

I have a 91 C1500. The rear is lowered two inches using drop shackles. The front suspension is stock. I like the way the truck sits and don't want to change it. What I am looking for are some upgraded upper and lower control arms that are a significant upgrade over stock. All I can find are...

EGR

On a TBI 350, can the EGR valve be deleted without too many modifications? Emissions are of no concern to me. What components, if any, will be necessary? Here's what I have planned. Edelbrock carbureted intake w/o egr provision Modified throttle body Throttle body adapter plate

Rocker arms

1991 C1500 Installing Summit Racing Vortec heads. Will I need self aligning rockers or will conventional rockers work without modification? Thanks.

Okay, here's what I got going. 1991 Chevy C1500, TBI 350. About to build a 383 and need advice. Which is more viable: 1) Use current engine block and put Vortec heads on it and put a Vortec TBI intake on it. 2) Get block from 96+ truck and rework the heads and put Vortec TBI intake on it...
