Another 7.4 l29 cam question...
I cannot for the life of my get a consistent answer on what is needed on a cam swap for a 97' 454. Some people say you can use the stock stuff, others say adjustable is the only way to go...milling valve guides, not milling etc. Would like to clarify for the next guy so it has all the...- felskee

anyone running long tubes/ mid length headers??
i have a 99 2 door tahoe and bought some tbi mid length headers and wondering if yall had any problems installing them. pictures would be apprciated. also running a sas up front and hoping the headers dont hit the pass side hanger- felskee

i have a 99 5.7 vortec and under heavy acceleration ONLY WHEN WARMED UP bogs, missfires it sounds like then catches up in the higher rpms. almost sounds like a 6 cylinder then goes back to normal. when its cold it acts like it should. its a fairly new motor( rebuilt withing the last 50,000. new...- felskee
