Need help bad....again

I have multiple spare sensors that I've collected. I swapped the tps when this first started but the problem persists. Found a good ecm at the upullit this morning and just put it in. Truck is running like normal right now. All I can do is drive it and see if it fails again. If that happens then...

Need help bad....again

Yeah so as I predicted, its running normal again. When I shut it off at lunch it was stuck in crazy mode. I did nothing to it since then. Just walked out to it and fired it up and all is well.

No fuel

Unless I am sorely mistaken... Theres no cam sensor on a 94. If everything else is working but the pump is not then I would check the oil pressure switch. I am pretty sure they supply power to the relay. At least thats what I have remember reading. I dont have a schematic for that truck to verify.

Need help bad....again

Its only happened twice while driving. And both times its on a smooth highway. I made it to work today with no hiccups. Went to leave for lunch and it was doing the high idle thing again. So i checked all the fuses for power and everything is lighting up. What i didnt do is get voltage readings...

Yes, 95 is all on its own. Ive considered the computer being at fault but I dont believe it to be only because its intermittent. The plugs are secure. I may have exxagerated about "every" code. It threw so many that i lost count. At least 15 of them. Im leaning towards the ignition switch being...

95 ecsb 2wd 5.7 4l60e. Truck does one of three things. It runs fine for days. Or i will start it and it goes nuts idling at 1300 with the iac stuck wide open. It also locks the trans in 3rd gear. I can manually pull it into first and then shift to third but no second or overdrive. The other...

Blower motor relay failure?

You saved my bacon. I had the exact problem as you. I had power to the motor but it wouldnt work. If the motor was connected the actuators wouldnt work either. Cut out the plug and spliced the wires and all is good. THANK YOU

nasty shaking while braking

Back again for more help. 95 ecsb 5.7 4l60. I lowered the ass end of the truck 4 inches with the djm shackles and hangers back when i had the bed off for body work. I havent lowered the front yet as i didnt have the money for the spindles. The truck shakes like crazy in the rear when slowing...

1993 tbi issues

How much gas is in the tank when it does this? My truck is awful once it gets around a 1/4 tank. it will hunt for an idle like a blown alky motor. Also it will die on acceleration or while turning. Gas sloshing is my problem. Its got a new pump and screen so i know its not that. Ive just learned...

Ok. Cable adjustment fixed the problem. Still slips in reverse. Ill throw a boost valve and a bottle of lucas in it next. If that dont fix it ill deal for now.

Its a cable setup. I didnt see any way to adjust it. Now doing some looking online, I see there is a way. Will have to try it this weekend. Who knows, maybe that will solve the slipping reverse problem too. If not, i may put a new boost valve in it.

95 1500 ecsb 5.7l 4l60e. Long ago shortly after i bought this truck the original trans let go. Started buzzing at idle and slipping. I pulled it out and of course had no dough for a rebuild so i managed to find a junkyard trans from a 95 gmc Jimmy. Other than having to change to a shorter yoke...

tire problems

I like the look of the coopers. On dry pavement i have no gripes. But wet performance sucks. Period. On my truck and on the roads I travel it is scary. Now it may be different for other people but I am not comfortable pulling out in traffic or running down the highway but whatever. Id be...
