Transfer case clunks!

UGHH.. I totally understand what you are telling me, but I also know it's out of my league at the moment. The last time someone worked on my truck, I got taken for a ride! I need somebody to show me! Anybody in Northern CA willing to help? I know more about my truck than anyone I know! Thanks...

Transfer case clunks!

Hi Y'all! I have a 1988 GMC K1500, with 160K miles on it. I live on a dirt road so I use the 4-wheel drive all the time. This was my late husbands baby and he did all the work himself. It's basically all stock. I'm learning to work on it and can do the basics. However, I know absolutely nothing...

Sealed beam bracket screw size?

I've got an '88 K1500. Let me know if you get an answer, cause I've been looking for the exact same thing! I know they are Torx, but the threads are not a normal type.

Leak under passenger side dash

If you are looking at the front of the truck, at the base of the windshield wipers is a grill. Its between the hood of the truck and the windshield. There are 4 Phillip's head screws that come out and that piece comes off. There are 2 drains under there. If they are clogged, the water will go...

Leak under passenger side dash

I had the exact same problem in my '88 K1500. Underneath the windshield cowl there is a drain. Mine was totally clogged, so instead of the water going out the drain, it was running inside the truck.
