    Alternator Bracket/Power Steering Pump Mount 95 C1500 5.7L V8

On the mount using the DR44 case, using a thick washer or the OEM shim that is on the longer bolt, it directly bolts on and requires no modification outside of the 3rd mount (rear center of the CS144 case) that is on the motor needs to be moved/removed/adjusted to fit the depth of the DR44.

    Alternator Bracket/Power Steering Pump Mount 95 C1500 5.7L V8

Had a couple questions as y'all are definitely more knowledgeable regarding what will and wont fit. The original part number I found for the alternator bracket is 10233233 which is no longer in production. The listed replacement that works for it is 10118701. The link provided i believe in post...

    Alternator Bracket/Power Steering Pump Mount 95 C1500 5.7L V8

It isn’t s a direct fit as the depth hits the 3rd mounting point of the stock alt. That has to be bent or removed. The failure was due to 5-6year of extra stress running dual alternators and a mod to the mounting hole that cracked after low temps sitting in the driveway. Working on making it...

    Alternator Bracket/Power Steering Pump Mount 95 C1500 5.7L V8

The mount never had issues with it. My issue of the mounting hole cracking was due to some mods to run dual alternators and I opened one of the holes a bit too much. Worked fine for 5-6 years then in the last freeze here in Texas, it cracked.

    Alternator Bracket/Power Steering Pump Mount 95 C1500 5.7L V8

That is a aftermarket mechman alternator from probably 5-6 years ago. 270a. I used to do a bunch of car audio so the alternators I was using are I the 270-320a range typically. Thanks guys. I’ve been having hell trying to find what would fit the motor as every sites part matcher would only...

    Alternator Bracket/Power Steering Pump Mount 95 C1500 5.7L V8

Trying to find out if there is an official part name for what I am trying to replace. The left alternator mount cracked and want to replace it if I can find the part. It holds the power steering pump and has the power steering pulley on it as well. 1995 C1500 5.7L V8. Any ideas on what it...

    The Stupid Engine Questions Thread

I had a similar issue a few years back, and mine was the distributor not working correctly, and somethign about that 1750-2000rpm range, same as yours would make it really show up. And if I stayed under it or passed it up, it would "behave". Mine never through an error for it I don't believe...

6.5 cubic feet, tuned to 31hz never metered it, but i know it could break a 50 in the mid 40s.. already rebuilding again, not changing much, but new amps, subs, mids.

    sub boxes

You are wrong, sorry, sensitivity of subwoofers is measured at 1khz. When does a car subwoofer ever play 1khz? Never... They play 20-100hz generally. If it a home audio woofer then sensitivity matters a little more since they generally play mid bass frequencies as well.

    sub boxes

When you say 10s and an 8, do you mean 3 woofers at the same time? If so you will be better off with just 2 10s and no 8 since having tens and an 8 could cause some cancellation and loss of out put. Secondly, 3 subs on 1 amp being 2 channel or 1 gives you mixed ohm loads/ irregular ohm loads...

    95 Ext Cab Chevy Build

thank you randall for telling me to test fit.... would have been bad if i didnt staple where i stapled. Driver side clears the Parking brake by about .25in and the passenger side will probably end up snug on the A/C/Heater thing below my dash. got a TON of sanding and bondo to do though to make...
