4x4 Manual floor stick to push button?
I lovvvvvved my floor mounted shifter. Only when it was below 32 degrees would it give me trouble, but I replaced some gizmo and it worked like a charm once more. Don't get me started on the GMT800 t-cases......- Blue_Z71

The Offroad Wheel and Tire Thread
I bought my '95 with 285-75-16 BFG MT's on stock steel wheels. Not bad tires considering they were bald. I then bought some 35x10.50 Buckshot Gumbo Mudders, which come to find out would be my favorite tires on this truck. They only lasted two years, so I scooped up some 285-75-16 Maxxis Buckshot...- Blue_Z71

I've ran through some Swamper TSL's, LTB's, Boggers, old style Wrangler MT/R's, Maxxis Buckshot Mudders, Buckshot Gumbo Mudders, Mud Brutes, Toyo MT's, and my personal favorite - KM2's. Just depends on how deep your pockets are- Blue_Z71

What have you towed lately
Just a small story to share about my GMT400. Had some 35" Buckshots on my Sierra, and headed to the local quarry to get a load of fill dirt ($20 a load, no matter how big). Being that I lived 20 miles away, I wanted to get it all it one load, so I had the foreman in a very large CAT end loader... -

My 94 ECRB Sierra 4x4.
3.73's are definitely a plus, I had 4.10's and 35" Buckshots and it had more power than those all stock 305 equipped trucks. A compression check would be the first thing I'd do and go from there. I was getting 13mpg on a good day, usually 11 or so loaded or unloaded.- Blue_Z71

My old stable
Thanks all. I really had no interest in a hot rod square body to begin with. I had an '87 Sierra on 38" Boggers and was looking for a cheap DD. A bargain 350 fell in my lap, and the surface rust was growing on me (and not in a good way). The only logical choice was to build it right, since...- Blue_Z71

My new 1996 k2500 eclb
I replaced over 20 inside handles on each door, and several outside ones due to ice. I always carried 2 behind the seat, it was better than reaching out the window constantly- Blue_Z71

My old stable
Thank ya kind sir. Spent a lot of time and a decent amount of money on it. I'd love to get it down here to NC and put some more miles on it. I FORGOT to mention it only has 80-some thousand miles on it. Motor has about 40k cuz it came out of a '70.5 Camaro and sat for 20 years- Blue_Z71
