1998 7.4 Vortec EGR tube replacement/repair

curious, did you consider just using 3/4" hydraulic hard line, bend and cut to length, flare to 37* with the right nut and fittings. might cost 100 at local hydraulic supply store. but the stuff is rated at 3500 psi. and 450-500 degrees is nothing for it. bet if you got stainless dom line it...

youll find that one harness the issue. the different yhears, and cab configuration substantially change it. get both year manuals. do not get the haynes or chiltons. it has to be gm factorry service manual. it will tell you the different configurations. not trying to nitpick you, just saying its...

one of the issues you will find is the wiring from the engine harness that go into the cab below the ac reciever dryer will have substantially different wiring and connectors between years. and if one truck had the c60 system with airbags. and the other had airebags, c68, power windows, etc...

And if you look closer the boss for the ac delete pulley is viable, could possibly use a smaller diameter ac delete pulley to gain a better approach to the throttle body, abrupt 90° bends right in front of the throttle body are murder to hp and tq numbers. A straight shot into the throttle body...

This appears to be doable, just a plate to offset the ac compressor and a longer belt. At least that's how it looks, do you have any more info of this setup?
