The Stupid Engine Questions Thread

Since it is indeed the knock sensor, maybe the sensor is not leaking since it is mounted with the engine coolant passage. I don't seem to have coolant leaks. I'm trying to figure out where the oil is leaking. Thank you for confirming the sensor!

The Stupid Engine Questions Thread

This sensor is located on the passenger side, bank 2. It is below the sparkplugs and above the oil pan. I cannot figure out what this sensor is. I would like to replace it as I believe it is leaking. 1997 Silverado 5.7L Thanks!

Where can I find this oil filler tube neck? Can I use my oem stock oil cap with this tube in depicted in the picture? I can't find anything from dorman or ac delco.
