    New transmission secured! probably won’t update for a while until I have more time+money for the other things. Will say taking out the transmission with the engine is a whole world easier than dropping the transmission.

    Got to the pick n pull a bit late in the day, but here’s under the pan doesn’t look too bad. Also didn’t realize you can’t bring a jack to a pick n pull so I might have to get creative

    Yeah I get that but its cheap. I figure worst comes to worst I could have rebuilt it but I don't have the time for that right now. Ill save up some more money while i'm looking for another one since the pick n pull one didn't work out.

    Currently 20 and pretty broke so 700R4 it is, did some research and looks like GM trucks with the long bed are the only ones with the same wheelbase, but I found one at my local pick n pull so looks like I have a day planned out ahead of me...

    Dunno if people are still looking at this/having this problem, but I just did this fix on my truck but used a 1/2 brass hose barb instead of 5/8, and it fits perfectly, no more leaks.
