Just wanted to share my dyno results for my mild autocross c1500. 456hp to the tires with a completely stock junkyard 6.2 and custom grind texas speed cam kit.
Heres a link to the truck: https://www.gmt400.com/threads/my-autocross-rcsb-c1500.44214/
Thanks for the input I'll definitely try it out! I have softer springs to put in the rear to maybe help it stick and the rebound is the only adjustment I have on the rear shocks, definitely gonna set it softer. I'm pretty sure you can convert the t56 magnum to mid shift and that middle plate...
i agree 100% i'm not used to driving like this but im also not just throwing the truck around the track. i literally have to feather the throttle cause i can constantly feel the rear tires wanting to break loose. The bench seat is staying for a while, gotta have somewhere for the pup to sit haha.
It's hard to compare my times against the other cars because they only have one other truck that comes out and runs. I'm also not an experienced driver in this sort of thing. They put me in the pony car class and I think I did better than a couple 2018 mustangs. The truck is extremely tail happy...
Thanks! I'm actually considering raising it up and trying to hide it because my red light racing game has dropped substantially since I've installed it.
Hey friends! i havent been on this forum in years and just catching up and sharing my autocross build!
Current Specs:
6.2 L92 - removed vvt, upgraded texas speed cam kit w/ cutsom grind at least 550hp no dyno yet. Holley Terminator EFI.
T56 magnum.
z06 clutch and flywheel.
aeromotive fuel pump...
i actually prefer to run the plastic master because i run an aluminum salve and stainless braided hydraulic line, this makes the weakest point in the system my master, in case of excessive pressure. ive had it blow once when my t56 was first put in and out of adjusted just enough for the fluid...
