Alpine Halo

I have one in mine. Alpine Halo9 ILX-F259. The shifter barely rests against the far left corner of the screen. It doesn't push on the glass, only the plastic edge. I’ve had this deck well over a year, the shifter has never been a problem.

Fixed the problem. Truck runs better than ever now, oddly enough the issue went away when topped off my coolant, i noticed the coolant temp gage was reading slightly above what it normally ran, topped it off, and everything magically went back to normal...dont ask me how cause i have absolutely...

J Just ran the truck WOT with the stock ECU, truck shifted at 5,000 RPM on the dot. I believe this is no longer a sensor issue, this is a computer issue. The truck runs fine and shifts at the factory shift points under WOT with the stock ecu, there is no reason the BBP tuned ECU should not be...

I do, however the stock pcm is programmed to shift at 5k rpm, and right now the BBP tuned pcm is short shifting right where the stock pcm is programmed to shift from the factory. the only other way to tell if its a faulty computer is by putting in another pcm thats been tuned to shift higher...

Another update, i removed the maf and cleaned it out, took the truck for a test drive, It shifted at 5,500... but only once. And then it went down hill from there, popped a u turn and went WOT again, back to short shifting at 5k. Bought a new MAF at the store for the hell of it, installed it and...

My transmission is about as stock as it gets. Aside from new shift solenoids last year. Trans cooling is stock, have never had an issue with the trans overheating, ATF levels are good, fluid isnt burnt. Im gonna take a look at the MAF tonight, thats one thing i havent looked at, could very well...

Update, BBP responded to my concern and told me to check the throttle position sensor, and to make sure the throttle is opening fully. TPS is brand new, swapped it with the old one and no difference at all, throttle opens fully as well. The problem persists. Im starting to think I have a faulty...

The shift points are raised because the motor falls on its face with my 33x12 tires and long gearing when shifting at the stock 5k to the next gear under WOT. With the higher shift points, it brings it closer to 3600 Peak torque when going into the next gear than it does with the stock shift...

Manual 4x4 to pushbutton 4x4 swap.

Driving in the sand, mud, mountains ect. You’d be surprised how much offroading we do out here. Our sand especially is super soft, 2wd doesn't cut it.
