My dodge, GMC, and dads dump truck.
My girlfriend's friend's date backed into me at prom dinner... Kinda a drag, especially for him. We will go get an estimate on monday.
and with $800 worth of gauges, exhaust, and intake, you can easily turn the 12v cummins fuel pump up to make 300+ HP
Awesome conversion! I want to do one to my 7.3L IDI ford, but I think I would be getting in over my head as i've never really torn into a motor.
Smoothie front bumper looks great Conner. You should de-trim the rear bumper to match! I like the wheels personally, They are different and like someone else said, make it look like its from the 80/90s
Parts are a pain. I envy people who have the privilege of going to a junkyard and picking and pulling what they need for low cost. Any of those types in Anchorage/Wasilla that you've found?
Been really busy with other stuff and havnt had time to do much. Noticed I was leaking antifreeze and as temps dropped, Kept leaking more and more. At -30* F, I was going through about a quart a day.... :X Finally found where it was coming from. Turns out it was where the radiator hose goes...
Awesome truck. Cant get any better than a 12v cummins and a 5 speed. 23 MPG if you keep your foot out which is hard to do with a diesel!
Love your plans.
TDS didnt have the right lug nuts so I had to get the ones with the threads on the end. They stick out too far for the smooth covers to pop on. I would need to buy the hub covers with the plastic bolts in them. GMT800/suburban ones would work as well.
Anyone got a set that they dont need?
Had to put winter tires, my tires were so bald. The road salt in Alaska ruins chromed wheels so there was no way I was going to run my nice wheels in the salt. Only blizzaks I could find were 16" with out order them so I had to find a set of 16" wheels. Wanted some GMT800/900 wheels but hardly...
