my K3500 has 285s on it and it rubs a little on a really tight turn. Id check to see if you can turn your TB up a bit. Just don't max them out. Id also check where is it rubbing to.

it will make it stiffer but increase your weight you can carry while keep your truck level. It also is safe with towing applications

Questions about a possible axle/gear ratio swap

these guys are right. Fuel economy is going to suffer a bit. My concern would be torque as that is what gets you most trails and off the line at a light. I used to have 42"s with 4.88s and nothing changed fuel economy when I went from 4.56 to 4.88 I saw a big torque help and it kept me in my HP...

heater core replaced and now power steering pump. Power steering pump was a nasty try and find. This particular power steering pump on the truck has a sensor on it for the vaccuassist brakes. None of the other pumps had it. I had to special order it from Napa through oreillys Mats ordered and...

UMmmmmm I have already been through all that with a massive project which even evolved to 2.5 rocks. This is something to tow haul a lot of stuff and wife can get in and out without much effort and drive sometimes
