I FINALLY FIXED IT! Decided to look into the MAP sensor again, unplugged it and the truck ran better, but was very rich obviously. Then I took a closer look at the vacuum line from the throttle body to the sensor, and found it was a thread away from being broken in half. I taped it up for now as...

Well I fixed the vibration, there was a spark plug wire that got melted by the manifold. It's running fine now that it's cold. After Christmas I am going to get a new computer for it and I'll check that knock sensor when I get time.

So here's an update, I bought a donor truck. It's a 1995 ECLB 2500 with the 4L80e. It has a 350 in it just like mine, I am wondering what all I need to do to swap the trannys? I know you need to change the crossmember and the torque convertor and all that good stuff but it there any other major...

Okay, when I replaced the distributor (because it was running like crap) I found the timing was at 12 degrees adv, so that's when I put it back to 0 degrees. This was like a year ago, still runs like crap now. Also when you put your foot into it, there is a major vibration and shaking, goes away...

Well I finally got the truck in this weekend, pulled the wheels and started to bleed the brakes but was stopped by a leaky wheel cylinder, so replaced that and the line from the splitter at the back axle, and we are going to try again today. hopefully everything goes well! I'll post pics later.

I could try playing with it and seeing if I can find a sweet spot. I will also check that knock sensor. I checked all the wires off the computer and everything looks good. I also checked the wire to the knock sensor and its fine. I put some electrical contact cleaner on the plug to it as well...
