    so I see the purple starter wire is going too a panel slot number 6 but is that going too be my convenience box or the fuse box?? I’m going too put my yellow wire back too the clutch switch also! Thank you so much for all the help and patience trying to diagnose this issue remotely man!!

    Sorry about that the truck is a 1991 gmc sierra 5.7l with a 5 speed transmission I’m not too sure the specifics on my transmission. Also you are correct I have replaced all the high amp components already. After going through the manual and finding some schematics online i see my blue “purple”...

    So I want to assume their purple wire that turns into the blue wire would go into one of these units? The purple wire originally goes down to the starter. As for the yellow wire if it’s already coming from one of those units I’m not too sure where that one goes.

    So I traced the yellow wire back to the ignition switch, and the blue wire goes up to a connection with the yellow the yellow remains the same but the blue turns purple which I believe goes down to my starter. My question is do both of these wires go into the ignition switch originally?

    Well see the key turns for me no matter steering position but it just clicks I get no crank despite all the new components and my truck is always backed straight into the garage steering never turned too the side. So should I be turning my wheel too the side when I park ??

    Starter purple wire

    So I was installing a new starter in my 91, Gmc 5.7 and while I was tightening down the S terminal purple wire, the connector snapped off. Was hoping someone on here could let me know how I go about replacing it and what that wire leads to any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
