88-93 to 94-98 Grille Swap

Searched for awhile, couldn't seem to find one if there was. Can someone throw a how to for us nooby noobs, I thought I read it isn't a direct swap? You have to change mounts or something?

Keep the 88-93 grill, it's much more unique to see a mint one on these trucks than the overly common 94+ grill IMO.

Why is there so much hate for the early grills? I think they look better and you're right, too many people are doing it nowadays

Its because the chevy one with the grey plastick blocks is hidious! I don't mind the color matched 88 94 gmc ones.

Agreed! Not very many people agree with me though i love the black out look of these grills like the 454ss, thats what im gonna have on my truck

They look more flush than the bowed out 94+ grilles, and they look amazing with billet inserts.
