I have a theory,that "doesn't fit" may actually apply to the abs sensor that comes with the set-everything else is the same.

It literally says for “95-99 K1500”. Or when you Google either one of those parts it always shows SP550307 as a cross referenced part, which is the current Timken number.

Note the numbers after part number. The small numbers tell “Bearing Flange has no threaded mounting holes” and When depleted use SP550307.

The actual Timken bearing itself is the same Timken bearing on an OEM 15997071 and 15997072.

If I search my OEM 15997071 on RockAuto, Timken SP550301 and SP550307 come up.

If I search my OEM 15997071 on RockAuto, Timken SP550301 and SP550307 come up.

So bearing is the same which is good-bolts pattern too. The difference seem to be in flange?

It means when SP550300 and SP550301 aren’t available then use SP550307. Meaning they are interchangeable.
