Writeup: Intake Resonator Removal

I was looking for this thread while I was at Lowes today so I could get the cap, couldn't remember the size. Seach on taptalk = fail...

Just use the bottom of a coke or beer can, fits perfectly...

I did this for the hell of it today and it does indeed make the motor sound louder lol

yeah thats how i felt when i fixed my column a couple nights ago got it all done and thought, man i shouldve took pics wouldve made an excellent write up. oh well

Ok so I finally did this mod
It cost me a whole 55 cents for this

Once you remove the resonator, save this and throw the rest in the bed of the truck

Next shove the end of the can into the grommet, I had to paint it thanks to my OCD!

If you have a case of OCD wouldn't you want to put the VORTEC box back on to make it look normal again like I did?
