no the 3/4 housing is bigger and wont fit under the front of the half ton truck w/o lots of modificatino

I think it was Peterson Offroad that had an article where they did this. It was years ago, I remember reading it when I was trying to determine on a SAS or an upgraded IFS. I'll see if I can find the magazine(I never throw them away. I have a room full of Motortrend, Peterson's, Pop Mech and MOPAR mags). If I find it, I'll post it.

Edit- Okay it was July, 08 and it was actually upgrading a 2500 not going from 1500 to 2500. Either way the front diff failed after the upgrades. I'll try to scan the article and post it for you. They did a lot of modifying to upgrade and it didn't work well.
