LS motor is plug and play - 4 splice harness, not even a big deal and only a tiny fraction more work than swapping to anything else. If you are going to pull the motor at all you're already 99% there.

I agree with Mike.I was going to put a 383 in my truck but after some homework the LS makes a lot more scents all the way around.
