will they rub?

i was just wondering,,, my truck is a 98 gmc 2500 diesel,,, if i crank the t bars up and put 2" blocks in the back,, will a 305/70 tire rub? reason why im asking,, is because i already have the tires off of a project truck i have,, and i want to put them on my diesel,,, but not sure what i need to do to make it so they dont rub...

where would i need to trim do you think,,, fender or bumper?,, cause im not too crazy about messing up my flares,,lol

Ahh didn't notice you had flares. I'd think they would rub on those in reverse, but it would be close.

good deal,, thanks for the info,,, i would just do a body lift and crank t bars,, but i dont to make my truck too high due to plowing in the winter and just general use around the scrap yard

The wheel they go on will be the big factor on if they rub. If a stock offset wheel then you should clear with some crank. Any amount of offset and they will rub the plastic shroud on front bumper and will probably rub your fender flare.

I still rubbed offroad with max crank with my 33x12x15 on 15x8 wheels.

when I first got my 3500 I put 33x12.5x16.5's on it on a 10" wide wheel they rubbed a tiny bit on the back of the flares with t bars cranked and a 2" block,I got a set of 305x70x16" on 8" wide rims no rubbing at all here it is with the 305's

why did you go from 10 in wide rims to 8 in wide rims if ya dont mind me asking?
