People love those Toyotas, just not me. Take advantage of that fact and their fanbase by selling it to fund the Chevy.

For me, it's not about the quality. It's about it being OUR product. Can't really say that about modern cars, but back then you could. And so I liken it to this example: My brother owns a sub shop. I like his subs but hot dham, JJ's makes a much better sub. I'm still buying from my brother....My current DD is a 2003 Tundra, it's a touch bigger but still a 7/8's scale 1/2 ton...the interior quality is far better than any GM product of the era. The pickup has 213k miles on it and the interior is tighter than my 110k K2500 SLT Suburban (that has all new weatherstripping and has lived a VERY pampered life).
Tacoma is this area...6k maybeIf you sold gramps truck, you will regret it. What do you think the Tacoma is worth anyway’s?
You're on a GMT400 board.... What do you think we're gonna say?
I'd keep the GM, it was your grandfather's and he left it to YOU. He could've sold it and let it go with his estate but again, he left it to you.
The Toyotas I own are assembled in the US...so they've probably had more American hands on it than a GM product that is HECHO in MEXICO.It's about it being OUR product.
