NV4500 has some kind of composite synchros. Carbon fiber or Kevlar, I can’t seem to find anything real specific, but GM does recommend a specific fluid for them - GM #12346190. I have seen kits with brass replacement synchros as well. I would imagine the oil requirements wouldn’t be as tight with brass synchros.
