I'm about to drop the hammer on a 6" RCX lift for my 97 RCSB K1500 and I need some advice on wheel selection. I plan on running a 35/12.50 or equivalent Mickey Thompson MTZs. I need help deciding on whether to get 15" or 16" wheels, and how wide? 8"-10"? I'm not sure of the pros and cons of each from a functional stand point. The truck is a DD, but sees regular dirt road and occasional wheeling adventures. I don't want to go bigger than 16" and I don't want them hanging way our from the sides. Open to all suggestions, pics are encouraged. Thanks in advance.

If you dont want them sticking out get 8" wide. If you run 15s im pretty sure you have to run steel wheels to clear brakes.

Width is a personal preference. I like 8 wide myself. Here's mine with 16x8 MT wheels with 4.5bs with 315/75r16 Toyo's.

Here is my truck with 15x8 pro comp alloy 1069 rims and 35 mickey thompson baja claws. The 10" rims will stick out more, put added strain on wheel bearings and more chance of rubbing

Ok, I definitely like the look of the 16x8 wheels. Now, what about offset? I'm stuck on the MT classic III, but there are a +0 and -22 offset. Which should I get? I want the tires to stick out a tad, but I'm not wanting to compromise turning, rubbing, etc. I'm having a hard time finding any examples of a -22 offset on a OBS. +0 comes out to a 4.5 in backspace which is supposed to be max for a RCX lift. So correct me if I am wrong but the -22 offset will stick out more than the +0? I'm confused as all get out now.

Guess I better stick with the +0 then. Unfortunately the site that I was going to order them from due to the best price + a 10% discount and free shipping, only has 1 in stock. They have the -22, but I don't think I could tolerate much more tire sticking out than what oohunter04oo has.

I ran 15x8 on a 35x12.5 and also a 15x10. The 15x10 hit the wheel wells up front, had to trim. Rims have 3.75 backspacing.
