What is this called...

Anyone know the correct term for these bumper attachments? I saw them earlier on a 93ish c1500 and quite liked the classic look. No idea if it was factory or not.

I think they originally came out when the government mandated 5-mph bumpers on cars in the 70s. The ones pictured were probably not required by law but were added by the owner for some other reason.

I FOUND A 93 C1500 AT A JUNKYARD THAT HAS THEM!!!! I shall go grab them tomorrow

I don't think I have ever seen those on a GMT-400. They're definitely "old school"..... right up there with the spare tire carrier in front of the grille. Seems I usually saw them on Fords.
