So 3.42's and a 4.3 don't make the best towing combo... Oh well :driver:

How did that work out?

Well, with my toolbox loaded in it acceleration takes a major dive but it'll hold 55-60 mph on all the hills so I was in the truck lane. It handles the trailer really well other than being under powered though. With the trailer empty on the way back you don't even notice it's back there and you can stay with traffic easily.

Towed my 22ft Wilderness camper to Makinaw dry weight 3850 with wood, bikes, and the rest of the gear I'm guessing 4300lbs. High winds the whole way I had to run 3rd gear and 60mph on that way back I ran overdrive tho.

i used to have pics, but they mustve been deleted when i purged my phone. several years ago, i towed a 1969 lincoln continental around 50 miles......with my 05 colorado, I5, 220 horse and barely any torque. it wouldve been easier to put my truck on the trailer and tow it with the lincoln. the car itself weighed around 6000lbs, plus 1200 trailer, and the 7200 is way over my trucks 4000lb rating.

she did it....wasnt happy, and couldnt go over 45mph, but she did it. im sure the burb would barely have broken a sweat with that haul.
