Vortec head swap

so im looking at vortec heads, .480 cam, new intake so it bolts to my tbi, a tune. will my headers bolt up? and that should give me a decent amout of power correct?

Yes. It is kind of pricey though. A lot of people just get a carb intake and use a tbi adapter. It is cheaper but if you need your egr, you will have to get get the GMPP intake.

Ok good to know. Maybe you can answer this then. Are there any 4 bbl carb intakes that are compatible with the TBI heads?

I'm not sure what your hood clearance would be like with the high rise, then the adapter on top of it.
