I was just being a smartass, I apologize. Was he the original owner? I'm pretty sure they recalled that exhaust and replaced it with a full length system for free.

IIRC the recall didn't cover my dad's truck. He is not the original owner but he heard of the recall and the dealership said it didn't cover his year.

covered any that had it exiting in front of the wheel, but only if the original owner reported wheel discoloration before the factory warranty was up... wasn't a recall (my mistake) but a TSB.
