I posted in the sticky thread but didn't get a great idea of what to do.

I have an aftermarket trans cooler that I was given (new in box)

I have a 1990 K1500 that did not come with a factory aux cooler. I want to add this cooler but not sure how to go about adding it into the system. I'll have to cut the line or buy fittings.

What would be the best way to do this? Would this also help reduce the operating temps of the truck at all?

It is a pretty simple deal to do. I like to put them between the radiator and the fan. It is easy to get to and more room in there. You have to trim a little on the fan shroud or drill holes for the cooler line to go out. You would be best to add it to you existing cooler in the radiator. That cooler should have a little packet of fittings, clamps, and a hose. Did it not come with directions? They are pretty detailed From Hayden.
