Here's a few things i carry in the truckbox..the bag is full tow straps, tie down ratchet straps....the coffee can has a few spare steering parts just in case....and a toolbag over in the far corner...

I carry a bunch of sockets, wrenches, hammers, pliers,hack saw, pvc saw, a regular wood saw, ball joint/tierod seperator, big ass c clamp to press ujoints in, sock for the axle nut, star bits, hex bits, box cutter, razor blads, jack stand, blocks, shovel, spare belt, some heater hose, towels, tow chain, a portable tire inflator that clamps to a battery to air my tires up after being on the beach or in the thick mess, a drill, power inverter to run the drill off of, extension cord, a few quarts of oil a gallon of antifreeze, a quart of tranny fluid, some brake fluid, jumper cables, rope, tarps, a lighter, some fishing hooks, spare bulbs and fuses, soldering iron, I'm sure there is more in my tool box I don't even remember being in there. I always have my cell phone with me too just in case i can't fix it myself on the side of the rd.
