Yes..I'm looking to do a 14 bolt swap in my truck. Would my 15" wheels fit with the semi float?
Driver's side rear wheel bearings are going. I have a 10 bolt with 8.5" ring gear, which bearings do I need? Looking at Rock Auto and Orielly's there's two different styles. I would prefer Timken
Also, do I need to pull the axles? If you have a video handy, post it up
8.5" 10 bolt should be TIMKEN Part # 513067
Notice there's a different bearing for the 9.5" 14 bolt (R1561TV), and then the 10.5" has inner and outer bearings. (387AS and SET38)
I haven't torn into my SF axle but I don't see how you'd be able to do much of anything other than changing the gear oil or cover without pulling the axle shafts.
