By making your wheels stick out more, spacers can make them rub on the valance or bumper more, but will prevent them from rubbing the frame. For you, it just depends on what lift you go with whether they will rub with spacers or not

I have a stock burban and before i do my lift im gunna need tires not to mention i want a more aggressive look, what is the biggest tire i can fit without any trimming and what is the biggest that would require only a little trimming. also i do not want any rubbing whatsoever.
What is the biggest tire I can run with on a 16x8 wheel? I have vision warrior wheels on 265-75/16 and I just did a rough country 4 inch lift. I am wanting to get 315-75-16 tires and aal and crank up to the full 6 inches of lift. Will those tires work? I not what our your suggestions? Thanks in advance.

ive never seen 285/75R16s fit on a stock K1500... I think you mean 265/75R16s... cause that's what is stamped into the stock tire carrier bracket for possible tire sizes, from GM.
and even if they do fit with a slight torsion key crank... if you hit a big bump they're going to rip into the bumper, plastic air dam, wheel-wells and fenders...
I had to crank and trim to make my 265s fit
