By making your wheels stick out more, spacers can make them rub on the valance or bumper more, but will prevent them from rubbing the frame. For you, it just depends on what lift you go with whether they will rub with spacers or not

If those put you at about the same height as a stock z71 then you shouldn't have any problems at all with rubbing

Well eventually it will be 6" lift and with 17"x 12.5" rims but I was told I can't fit those rims stock so I wanted to get bigger tires now (stock) unless I can fit those rims??

What is the biggest tire I can run with on a 16x8 wheel? I have vision warrior wheels on 265-75/16 and I just did a rough country 4 inch lift. I am wanting to get 315-75-16 tires and aal and crank up to the full 6 inches of lift. Will those tires work? I not what our your suggestions? Thanks in advance.

If you crank to the full 6" you could probably fit a skinny 36" tire but you might rub. 35's are generally the perfect size for the 6" RCX lift. The 315/75's should look just fine

I'm running 315/75-16 tires on 12" wide wheels. There's no rubbing on flat surfaces, but I have evidence of rubbing...

ive never seen 285/75R16s fit on a stock K1500... I think you mean 265/75R16s... cause that's what is stamped into the stock tire carrier bracket for possible tire sizes, from GM.

and even if they do fit with a slight torsion key crank... if you hit a big bump they're going to rip into the bumper, plastic air dam, wheel-wells and fenders...

I had to crank and trim to make my 265s fit

Really? People fit 285/75's all day long on stock K1500 trucks. You shouldn't have to crank and especially shouldn't have to trim to fit 265/75's...
