So a long time ago mangonesailor said "I also have a book (some call "THE book") on building/rebuilding the Gen5/6 big blocks. Usually $500 on ebay but I found some used book place online selling it for $25."

What book is that? I searched ebay just now for 'rebuild gen 6 chevrolet big block engines' and only got the usual 40 year old stuff.
Scott, check post number 270 in this thread. These are the two talked about, yea old, but very helpful. These were before 0411’s, 50 different cam grinds, and big injectors.

Great info! Thanks I'm not looking for anything in particular, but I would like to find one of those books. They must have heard us talking about it because the price has jumped to $1,002..

Props to you for taking the time to OCR it. I'm in tech manuals all the time, and a searchable .pdf is very handy.
