Not a GM, but whatever, it's classic

L4-134 (L-head, 4 cylinder, 134ci) out of my 1949 Willys-Overland (Jeep) truck. The block isn't original, it's actually a somewhat unusual 1943 Willys MB block.

When pulled, pretty much wore-out

That's awesome. I love the old flat heads.

They're cool. IIRC they had a 3.125" bore and 4.375" stroke. Built for torque. I think HP was like 63 or something, but with 100+ ft/lb . Not bad for a 70 year old 4-banger design that got surprisingly good mileage (in a truck format, 3-speed with 5.38s like mine, people often get 16+ mpg).
